Wells Electronics Ltd, trading as Laser Projector Repair, is the United Kingdom's leading independent specialist in the repair and maintenance of professional laser and lamp-based projectors. Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, we serve customers across the UK, Ireland, and the wider EMEA region.
Our Story
Founded in 2003, Wells Electronics Ltd began as a general electronics repair company serving South Yorkshire. As digital cinema projection began replacing traditional film, we identified a growing need for specialist projector repair services that the manufacturer's own service networks struggled to meet in terms of cost and turnaround time.
Over two decades, we have grown into the UK's most trusted independent projector repair centre, investing continuously in diagnostic equipment, technician training, and parts inventory. Our Doncaster facility now features ESD-safe clean rooms, thermal imaging equipment, optical measurement laboratories, and one of the largest spare parts inventories for Barco projectors outside the manufacturer.
In 2019, we opened our Dublin facility to better serve the Irish cinema and simulation market. Today we process over 400 repairs annually for customers ranging from independent cinemas and rental companies to military training facilities and luxury home cinema owners.
