Yes, we offer free insured collection from all addresses within mainland UK and the Republic of Ireland. We use specialist AV couriers with appropriate packaging. For EMEA locations outside the UK and Ireland, collection costs will be quoted separately before booking.

Original packaging is ideal but not essential. Our couriers carry specialist AV transport cases and protective materials. For high-value cinema and simulation projectors, we can arrange bespoke flight case packaging at additional cost if required.

Yes, you are welcome to deliver your projector directly to our Doncaster service centre during opening hours (Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30). Please contact us first to arrange a suitable time and receive a drop-off reference number.

Typical turnaround times from collection to return are: Cinema series: 3-5 working days; Large venue: 3-5 working days; Simulation: 5-7 working days; Home cinema: 3-5 working days. Complex faults or projects requiring specialist parts may take longer. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

Upon arrival, your projector undergoes a comprehensive diagnostic assessment including: visual inspection for physical damage; power-on test and error log extraction; thermal imaging survey; optical output measurement; DMD test pattern analysis; and cooling system performance check. We provide a written diagnostic report and quotation within one working day.

Yes, our 48-hour express service is available for cinema and large venue projectors at a 50% surcharge. This guarantees diagnosis within 4 hours and repair completion within 48 hours of quotation acceptance, subject to parts availability. Emergency same-day service is available for contract customers.

If we determine that repair is uneconomical or impossible, we will provide a detailed explanation and recommend alternatives. These may include: replacement with a refurbished unit; upgrade to a newer model; or parts harvesting for salvage value. Your projector will be returned at your expense or we can arrange responsible recycling.

We provide a no-obligation written quotation after diagnosis. Repair costs depend on the fault, parts required, and projector model. Typical repair ranges: Cinema series: £800-£3,500; Large venue: £1,200-£5,000; Simulation: £1,500-£6,000; Home cinema: £400-£2,000. The diagnostic fee (£85+VAT for cinema) is waived if you proceed with the repair.

We accept BACS/CHAPS bank transfer, all major debit and credit cards (via secure payment link), and approved purchase orders from registered businesses and public sector organisations. Credit account terms (30 days net) are available to approved commercial customers.

If you decline the repair quotation, we charge a return shipping fee of £45 + VAT (mainland UK) or €65 (Ireland). EMEA return costs are quoted separately. You may also arrange your own collection at no cost. The diagnostic fee (£85+VAT for cinema) applies unless you proceed with the repair.

All repairs carry a minimum 90-day warranty from the date of return delivery. This covers the specific repair work and any parts replaced. If the same fault recurs within the warranty period, we will repair it again at no charge including collection and return. Extended 12-month warranties are available for 15% of the repair value.

Yes, we repair both laser and traditional lamp-based (UHP/Xenon) projectors. While the industry is transitioning to laser, many lamp-based units remain in service. We offer lamp replacement, reflector cleaning, ballast repair, and power supply refurbishment for legacy systems.

We do not sell projectors directly, but we can source refurbished units and spare parts through our supplier network. Parts fitted during repair carry the same warranty as the repair work. We do not sell parts for customer self-installation due to warranty and safety considerations.

Most repairs are carried out at our Doncaster service centre where we have clean room facilities, specialist test equipment, and full parts inventory. For simulation domes and large fixed installations, we offer on-site diagnostic and calibration services. On-site component replacement is available for maintenance contract customers.

Yes, we offer comprehensive annual maintenance contracts for cinema, venue, and simulation customers. Contracts include scheduled preventative maintenance, priority repair response, remote diagnostic support, and DCI compliance certification. We are an independent specialist repair centre with extensive experience on Barco projectors. Our technicians are trained to manufacturer standards and use genuine OEM parts where available. We offer cost-effective alternatives to manufacturer service centres, often with faster turnaround times. For warranty work on new Barco projectors, we recommend using Barco's authorised network.

Absolutely. We back up all firmware, calibration data, and network configurations before repair and restore them on completion. We operate under strict data protection protocols in compliance with UK GDPR. Non-Disclosure Agreements are available for sensitive installations including military and government simulation systems.
